Sunday's blessing -Giveaway

Good evening visitors. Thanks for stopping by.
I have a giveaway going on until sept.10th so make sure you enter for the E CLOTH kitchen towel set! These are great...link is on right side of blog!

It has been a bit difficult to get my new blog going but it will happen, determination is the key.One step at a time, just like anything else in this life we have. I hope you have had a good weekend. The boys were with me since Friday,i took them home after lunch Today. When school is out they are here.lol.Last night i took them riding on the Mule (otr vehicle) and we watched some 4 wheelers down the road doing stunts. The boy's loved it.I have to admit it was exciting and some friends were there as well so that was nice. Grandchildren are just that..Grand.. My grandfather Norris used to have a bumper sticker on his truck back in the 70's that read''Let me tell you about my grand kids''.I need one of those! Up until school started we mostly raised our youngest grandson Kolby. This is home to him and always will be. At mid life,47,life is not quite what i planned it to be,but it is interesting. The 4 grands keep me on my toes and keep me running.I had my first child at 17 ,i kinda grew up with my kid's i guess you'd say. Before mine were grown i remarried and have raised my husband's son who has now turned 17 and the grand kids started coming 7 years ago.So....I guess children have been a part of all my adult life.It is amazing what you can accomplish and overcome with God's help. But that topic is a blog all by it's self... Just saw a young girl on TV whose paintings are awesome!I am going to google and find out more about her.
have a great day and remember to enter my contest, link is on right side on top of sidebar and thanks for stopping in!

=====================================

E-cloth sent me a couple packs of E-Cloths, http://www.ecloth.com/index.php , to review.Haven't heard of E-Cloth?They are wonderful cloths that are used to clean using only WATER!

I have tried to cut back on a lot of the harmful chemicals that are in the cleaning products we buy everyday and i wanted to give e-cloth a try.First a little inf from their site.

From stainless steel to sensitive screens, E-cloth’s highly advanced fiber function is the new way to clean.
You’ll save time and money E-cloths & water. That’s it. Again-and-again.No paper towels or expensive cleaners to buy.
It’s cleaning that’s good for your health and environment. No harmful chemicals, toxins, or noxious fumes. No paper towel land fill waste. No chemical pollution.

They also have a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

They sent me the Kitchen pack to review, here it is.

When i first received it i got a small spray bottle to use for my water, and took out the large cloth.I love the way it feels.Very soft and easy to hang on too while cleaning and polishing.I started on my counter top.It is made from a type of tile.It worked wonderfully and all i sprayed on it was water.Ok this was easy i decided to move over to my wooden dinner table.I was surprised how it left no streaks on it what so ever.I just did a quick buff with the blue cloth sent when i was finished cleaning.beautiful.
Ok...time to move on to a more difficult problem. The stove with some grease Poppins on it from the mornings meal of bacon!Just spray on some water, wipe and it is done.Wow..I also cleaned and polished the microwave, toaster, coffee pot and more.I can say that i love E-cloth!

Included in this pack is also a glass and polish cleaner cloth. The blue cloth i referred too.I cleaned the windows using only water, as directed, and i was very pleased with them.No smears and scrubbing.

If you are looking for an alternative to glass sprays, ammonia, etc.I strongly recommend getting hold of some of these. They have cloths for all types of cleaning and i am looking forward to trying more of them.

The glass and polishing cloth alone sells for $9.98 and Kitchen Pack Price is $17.98,which included both towels. You receive free shipping on your orders.
How would you like to win a kitchen pack of E-cloths?This includes the cleaning cloth and the glass polish cloth, retails at 17.98..You will be impressed with E-cloth.
The packet includes.
(1) 12.5”x12.5” General Purpose Cloth

Alabama clay /giveaways around bloggville

Good morning all,
I have my granddaughter Charlize Mae for a couple days so time on here is limited.. ;)Sleeping sweetly right now but soon to arise.lol.She is 15 months old now and such a blessing, all of them are.She and her mom Julie will be taking their trip to Arizona to spend time with Julies family the 16Th of September again and i will so miss them. They will stay about 2 months and return.Julie does this yearly and i think it is such a good idea.It gives her family time to spend with them as well as gives her and Darrell me time as i call it..
Julie is such a dear and i am blessed to have a daughter in law like Julie.Could not have asked for a better one,i do love her.
Kybo graded the roads yesterday and oh my!They are a mess..We love on a dirt road and yes we make Alabama red clay proud.lol..When it rain's it is a disaster. Not too mention the 4 wheelers and 4x4's that try and make it worse.I wish everyone of them had to live on the roads they mess up for a week and only drive a small car.Like a pinto ;0...
I do love Alabama, but the roads suck..Right now due to the economy they are limited to what they have,so no sand added ,rocks dropped.etc..Just red clay on hills and all.Several older folks and single women with kids live on my road so it is a mess for several of them. Most of us do have trucks,But......Red clay will win every time. ;)
Where do you live? Or you getting ready for winter?Halloween?I will be doing a couple reviews on some costume sites where you can buy online in the next week or two so be looking for that....
Reminder....Readers please stop panicking on the Swine flu...My whole family ,all 5 kids and us,have had it...It was less than a common cold!!!!!!Just take care of your self if you get it,take Tylenol, and drink plenty of fluids and a day or 2 of rest. You will be fine if you do not have underlying problems....Odds are better you will be struck by lightning than hurt by this....

God bless and have a great day.

Swine flu a big hype=watch the congress

Morning all.
First up ..update on my grandkids and the swine flu.Billy(7) and kolby(4) have returned to school,Charlize mae(15 mos) and summer(14 mos) could not ever tell anything was wrong and riley james(nephew 14 mos) is better now.He had the roughest of the 5.Lot of congestion, irritable, fever for 2 days. But now he is like his old little self..
So i stick to what i said about the swine flu.....
DO NOT PANIC.....THE REGULAR FLU IS FAR WORSE THAN THIS....FAR WORSE!!!!!
I can say this..someone somewhere decided this is a good way to scare folks and take their mind's off other things going on.So the first thing that comes to mind is politics. The next thing is,,,,HEALTH REFORM AND CAP AND TRADE!
Do not be fooled people.Prepare for this flu just like any other.Dissinfect your homes, lysol and bleach.Get you some alcohol based wipes,or make your own..it is simple!Drink plenty of water and juices and they say viamin d is a good immune booster for the flu season.Rinsing ears out with hydrogen peroxide also helps, prevents it from coming into your body sometimes.
And about tamiflu...It is 57.00 in the drug store.I saw NO difference in the kids that took it and the ones that did not.So use it as you think. For the one's who have got seriously ill or died from complicaions of the flu i am so sorry.I truely am.
But to all the families that are freaking out on this, please stop it..People are stocking up on freeze dried food, can goods, vitamins, water, mask etc. This is fine if you have the extra money, because you never know when a real emergency will come..But to do this because of the flu is downright stupid!Yes i said stupid..5 kids under the age of 7 have went through it along with us adults..So yes i have an opinion on this. Before it happened i also was freaked and worried about it...But...It is un due worry people.I can not stress that enough..A cold was worse than this..I promise you that!!!!!!I am not the only person who feels this way.Google it!Companies are making a lot of money off our fears and a lot of bills are going to pass in congress if we do not pay attention!!!!

I pray everyone goes through this ok.

orange peel recipes

What do your kids/grandkid's like to snack on?What do you give them?

Since the grands were babies ,now 4 and 7,i have really encoraged fruits and veggies and thank fully now they prefer that over snacks..Although both love honey roasted peanuts and slim jims! lol

There a lot of oranges bought here and i got too thinking ,there has to be some recipes for orange peel. Thus this post was born.Out of the one's i discovered here are the one's with links where i found them, that i have chosen to keep and try.If you find any you like give me a comment and lmk...

have a great night,

Betty R

============================================================

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
6 lemon peels, cut into 1/4 inch strips
4 orange peels, cut into 1/4 inch strips
2 cups white sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup white sugar for decoration

DIRECTIONS
Place lemon and orange peel in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 20 minutes, drain and set aside.
In medium saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and cook until mixture reaches thread stage, 230 degrees F (108 degrees C) on candy thermometer, or small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft thread. Stir in peel, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain.
Roll peel pieces, a few at a time, in remaining sugar. Let dry on wire rack several hours. Store in airtight container.
======================================================
Ingredients
6 large organic navel oranges
4 cups sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
Directions
Using a sharp paring knife, score the oranges lengthwise into quarters. Remove the peels and cut them lengthwise into 1/2-inch wide strips.
In a medium saucepan, cover the orange peels with water and bring to a boil over moderately high heat. Boil the orange peels for 5 minutes, then drain in a large colander. Repeat the blanching and draining process 2 more times to tenderize the orange peels and remove the bitterness.
In the saucepan, combine 2 cups of the sugar with the corn syrup and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over moderately high heat, occasionally washing down the side of the saucepan with a wet pastry brush. Add the orange peels to the syrup and cook, stirring occasionally, until the peels are somewhat transparent and most of the syrup has been absorbed, 40 to 50 minutes. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, stir frequently and watch carefully to prevent the peels from burning.
Spread 1 cup of the remaining sugar on each of 2 heavy, rimmed baking sheets. Drain the orange peels in a large colander. Using a fork or tongs, transfer each piece of orange peel to the sugar-coated baking sheets; do not clump the peels together. Let the orange peels cool for 15 minutes, then roll them in the sugar to coat completely. Let cool thoroughly in the sugar, then transfer the orange peels to a wire rack and let dry overnight. Discard the remaining sugar from the baking sheets.
The Candied Orange Peels can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
======================================================
ORANGEETTES DIPPED IN CHOCLATE
Orangettes are strips of candied orange peel dipped in dark chocolate. They make an elegant gift and look great served on a decorative dish along with the coffee at the end of a meal. This recipe is several steps long, but it can be doubled if you want a bigger serving for the time spent in the kitchen.
Cook Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients:
1 large navel orange
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup chopped semisweet chocolate

Preparation:
Using a peeler, cut 3-inch long, 3/4-inch wide strips of orange peel from the orange. Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil and simmer the orange peels for 10 minutes. Drain the peels, rinse them with cold water, and boil them in fresh water for an additional 10 minutes; repeat this process 1 more time.
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan and stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has reduced in volume just a bit, about 5 minutes. Add the orange peels and continue simmering the mixture for 15 minutes. Transfer the candied orange peel to a wire drying rack and allow it to sit undisturbed for 45 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Dip the 2/3 of the length of each candied orange strip in the chocolate, leaving 1/3 of the peel exposed, and place it on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
This recipe makes approximately 10-12 orangettes

ORANGE PEEL CANDY!!! YUMMY..

CANDIED ORANGE PEEL

Wash! Take center out of rinds; leave white in. Cut in strips or pieces. Cover with water (cold), bring to a boil and let boil a few minutes. Drain. Do this 3 times in all. Then weigh rinds, use as much sugar as rinds and just barely cover with water. Boil again and continue boiling until water or syrup is about all gone. Place on wax paper to cool. Then roll in granulated sugar and let dry.
JUST ALMOST TOO EASY!!!

Just another sunday in the south and swine flu update

Happy Sunday Lord's day everyone!
I do hope you have enjoyed your weekend wheather chasing kids at home, relaxing,a movie,theatre..what ever..i hope you laughed..
I have had the boys since Thursday and Summer came yesterday.Updating a little on our ''flu''.
Still about the same,i can't really tell any one is sick. ;0 Either billy was disdiagnosed and no one else got it, or prayer stopped it all or this flu thing is the weakest thing i personally have ever seen!I know some folks have died from this so i mean no disrespect. From all the media hype and gov. warnings me as well as most everyone, was expecting somethingFAR WORSE than i have seen.I have in the family,me of course,a 14 month old,15 month old,4 year old and 7 year old and hubby. Then theres rita,27,darrell 29 ,and julie 25....The worse we have saw is kolby threw up one night 3 times, diaharea on a few, nausea a few times, low grade fever and just a sicky look sometimes and my throat is sore somewhat...uuuuuuummmmm..This started last saturday and sunday...
I see this as a lesser thing than the regular flu.A lot of people each year die from that and the flus i have had in the past kick this one's but!!!!! I think tamiflu and drugs like it are making a killing ,for nothing really, and government keeps our minds off other things like, health reform, cap and trade bills ,white house emails and the likes...watch out guys! it is a cover up...just my point of view...
anyway i hope you have a great day and i'll be back later to visit some of you...

Have a blessed day,
Betty R

Readers it is Friday again!
Update on the grands, billy tested positive for influenza A and was sent to state lab for test for swine flu. They are all taking meds in case it is and the other kids maybe will not get it.The main thing me and Rita did was too buy alcohol, hydrogen and Lysol for spraying and cleaning the house with.I think that will help as much as anything.
SO FAR....I am beginning to think this is a big media hype.I REALLY AM! 5 days in we have had some fever, not over 102 and easy to break, little irritable in the 4 year old,KOlby threw up twice the first night he showed being sick, and he had a restless night last night..Seemed to be dreaming a lot but no fever.Ok....I have to say here that we really have been praying over this a lot and the kids and us in general,we have also asked others for prayers...Has god put a hedge around us..or is this a lot of flu info scare tactics bologna?????I do know certain people ...hmm hmm ..will make millions off th so call medicine for it..preventive tamiflu..2 of the kids were put on that day before yesterday..BUT....there is no difference in the kids when compared!!!!ages from 13 months to 7 years and the adults included that were all around during fever time...And also ....This is the mildest ''FLU''i have ever seen!!!!
So i guess i will review this... ;) simply...lol
ok......
DAY 1-7 year old test positive (the 4 year old who was throwing up and fever in the house, test negative! ;0 )
DAY2-No tamiflu at pharmacies in town and preschool class has all but 10 out with fever and such.7 year old runs 100 temp,4 year old a little ill.13 month old low grade fever below 100.13 month old receives tamiflu late that evening, also other 14 month old 1st cousin who had thrown up.
DAY 3- 4 Year old goes to school till lunch, school closes until Monday to clean and sanitize. All other kids are playing, eating drinking fine..no signs
DAY4-billy 99 fever,no signs with anyone else and kolby is now on tamiflu.Boys (7 and 4) come home with me last night.(i was staying with them because we expected a far worse problem with the kids).Ate and drink well,Kolby got 99 fever and i gave Tylenol .30 minutes later he is fine and wants to go for a walk!Kolby was a little restless through the first part of night but no fever!girls (age 13 and 14 months) are fine with tamiflu.
DAY5-This morning the boys are acting just like normal..Wrestling ,laughing and watching cartoons!
will update with any change,,,,
But at the moment i will have to say....
weak flu virus(thank god)
low grade fever at times
nausea at times,just a few
irritability and restless at night.

the ones on the tamiflu are no different than the ones who are not!So on that note let us move to Tamiflu....
Tamiflu is free or almost if you have medicaid or medicare...

it is 59.00 without anything.

for 3 people i spoke with with various insurance, high risk people..diabetics and lung problems.with their insurance it was still 47.00!!!! is that a joke..no i am afraid not!!!! Hey this includes mine... ;(
none of these 3 people had it filled!

so what do i think???
i did not get tamiflu and i have breathing problems and heart valve issues...

i have been with and around them A LOT before and after testing.I have had a few low grade fevers ,tad of nausea, small cough..nothing else...

Their mom also about the same -she is 27.good health.no tamiflu....
My recommendation, for what it is worth......
I WOULD NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE TAMIFLU UNLESS YOU ARE VERY SICK AND HAVE SERIOUS ,SERIOUS ...UNDERLYING PROBLEMS....
I WOULD.....
open windows in house to air out as much as possible
disinfect with Lysol, add some alcohol to water in a sprayer and use that to clean with or use hydrogen peroxide the same way.....
wash hands at least 20 seconds a lot!!!!
cough in arm or hands but wash well immediately..
flush ears with hydrogen to keep flu down also..this helps and easy to do...
if you are sick and have to go out ,wear a mask while in public or to keep from getting it.
Put a note on door and ask visitors if they are sick to please come back when they are over it!!! ;) yes i do this and have a note says we have flu in house....
pray,pray, pray!!!!!
let me add this..There are people who have and are dying from this.It is caused from other complications, pneumonia, etc.a pastor here in town has a 7 year old grandson who just yesterday ,after 3 weeks, came off life support after getting swine flu.It can be deadly i am not making lite of it.Take precaution and watch folks with it carefully to make sure they don't get something else on top of it...This is the problem and if it happens make sure you seek medical care and demand the hospital do it's part!No mistakes can be afforded here......

overall i say we shall all soon find out that this was a big hype to sell the meds and take our attention off something else..say..health are reform...or cap and trade bills...be careful and let us watch at all times!!!!

god bless and thanks for prayers....

i would appreciate any comments and thoughts you have on this...

SWine flu ,Giveaways and Contest

good morning readers,
well the tropical storm cane in yesterday just to the east of us here in south central alabama and we got very little of the wind or the rain i am afraid.I was looking so forward to it as well.I love the way the air feels and the rain off the depressions. Now the hurricanes are a different story.I do not like them at all.For the ones of you who do not experiance these,it is awful.A very scary situation for days, sometimes weeks, before you can start clean up.Katrina and a few more were even worse. When she came through we were lucky here.Me ,my son and hubby went to DiBerville and Biloxi to help out there for a few weeks and it was the experiance of our life.I highly recommend any one who can to volunteer any time you are needed. It can change your life!
I am watching Bill in the ocean and hopefully it will go on out to sea and not leave devastation behind it.I am also closely watching the swine flu and all that is said about it.I am very concerned about the vaccination as well. There are way too many dangers associated with it .And farther more they are at this time testing it and it is suppose to be ready for us in a few weeks?????
http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/stories/2009/08/17/daily22.html
Since when has testing been done in a few weeks? Please take time and research the virus and the ''cure''.people are dying from the vaccination as well...Check into some of the natural meds for this.I myself am trying the prevention method with hydrogen peroxide!I have a previous post on this right here http://beginanewwithjesus.blogspot.com/2009/08/swine-flu-and-hydrogen-peroxide.html . check it out.The kids were better last night and rita said she would probably send them to school today..i thank God for them being ok thus far and in the future.
Just be well informed on all of this....

i hope you enjoy the giveaways i list and hope you are taking time to enter them all.It will help you come christmas time!I enjoy entering as well.So if you see it,i have entered as well...Remember i will start mine in september...

Betty R

Swine Flu and Hydrogen Peroxide

Hi readers and thanks for coming by!
As stated earlier we found out that there was a child that was diagnosed with swine flu at my grandson Kolby's preschool on friday.Today 3 of the 4 grandchildren are sick and will be tested tomorrow if they are not better.I have been doing a lot of research on natural meds for i am concerned about this and concerned as nmuch over the so called vaccination that has a high chance of making you even sicker or killing you.So with that....Hydrogen peroxide is one of the best things i believe we can use and have now started with all of us.Will keep you updated. The kids are 1,4 and 7 years old.I as well will be using it daily...Take a few minutes and read about this.it very well may be something you want to consider beginning and doing more research on..Good luck,God bless. Please keep my family in your prayers..

Sunday in the south-contest and giveaways-Tropical storm

Church went great and i think by next Sunday my boys will be ready to sing a little song in front of the folks at church! Whew ,was a little more difficult than i thought to teach 4 and 5 year olds ''be careful my little eyes''!But on the other hand it will be far more rewarding than i thought.I am soooo proud of my little sunday school class.. ;) I have decided i am going to reward them somehow next week...
I am awaiting the nice tropical winds from tropical storm that is moving onshore tonight. We had a few feeder bands this evening, they were so welcomed by me.For any one who does not know what a feeder band is,it is the rain bands that move onshore way ahead of the actual storm/depression.The spiral arms off it.
I read today that the Obama administration is considering killing ''the health reform'' bill.May as well.American's are not quite as stupid or mousy as they thought.I am so proud of that.I was really starting to wonder.......
Hope you guys take time to start entering the giveaway's and contest around bloggville. Also hope you are printing and using coupons to help out on grocery shopping.

have a good one and be safe...,

Tropical Storm Warning Issued for Florida-GIVEAWAYS AROUND THE BLOG!

Happy Lords day everyone..
i know some folks do this on Saturday but i really believe as long as you leave one day for him and acknowledge it ,That it is ok....
Tropical warning for florida guys.I knew when i got up the sky looked tropical.I say that living here in south central alabama ,just over the florida line, when a tropical storm is close. You can almost feel it.I love the way it looks right before one comes in and the way the air feels, but usually you know this heralds disaster for someone.Maybe not this time.Enjoy the way it looks and feels knowing it will not destroy someone or something.
Was looking at the other depressions bldg. and several look like they have the potential to do some really bad stuff. Will be watching them closely and i hope everyone in any of the paths do the same.Sometimes prevention is the major key in wheather you make it or not.I also hope everyone is preparing for the swine flu. As mentioned in last post one of the kids in my 4 year old Kolby's class has been diagnosed with it.I was looking on the maps they have for the diagnoses and they are so far behind!Hope you guys are not going by that.Be safe and be alert!Praying always....

have a great sunday and i will update with giveaways later this evening after Church and takng Kolby back to his mom's..

Let me know you came by and i shall return the visit!

Swine Flu -Giveaways and Contest..

Hello all and Hope yu are having a great weekend thus far!
Yesterday when we went to pick up Kolby in preschool.they gave us a note that said 1 student had now been diagnosed with Swine Flu.He goes to school in Opp.alabama.It is located in south central Alabama.I knew it was close and have been looking into a lot of info about it for months, but when we got that a good jolt of reality hit.Needless to say it was talked about in my prayers last night again. After the kids got off to sleep last night i was on here searching again.I will not panic, that causes way too much fear and mistakes so i say to you all,it is coming to you if it has not already ,SO BE READY!
I am seeing a lot of talk on Vitamin d and how much that helps to fight it off and make it way less than it is.
''Optimize your vitamin D levels. As I've previously reported, optimizing your vitamin D levels is one of the absolute best strategies for avoiding infections of ALL kinds, and vitamin D deficiency is likely the TRUE culprit behind the seasonality of the flu -- not the flu virus itself. This is probably the single most important and least expensive action you can take. I would STRONGLY urge you to have your vitamin D level monitored to confirm your levels are therapeutic at 50-70 ng.ml and done by a reliable vitamin D lab like Lab Corp.''

Wash Your Hands. Washing your hands will decrease your likelihood of spreading a virus to your nose, mouth or other people. Be sure you don't use antibacterial soap for this -- antibacterial soaps are completely unnecessary, and they cause far more harm than good. Instead, identify a simple chemical-free soap that you can switch your family to.
Eat Garlic Regularly. Garlic works like a broad-spectrum antibiotic against bacteria, virus, and protozoa in the body. And unlike with antibiotics, no resistance can be built up so it is an absolutely safe product to use. However, if you are allergic or don't enjoy garlic it would be best to avoid as it will likely cause more harm than good.

''Also i have been looking into Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy and as a prevenitive measure...
you can find some real good info on natural healing here..check it out before you have too...
I ask you all to join me in prayer for our safety and knowledge to get through this and please keep the kids in mind! Mine are billy, kolby, summer, charlize mae and riley..Thank you...
Would love to hear your thoughts on this...

How to clean cd's,dvd's and game disc

Morning readers,
If you are like me and my household, you have hundreds of cd's & dvd's not to mention the playstation disc all around.I as well burn copies of my pictures on disc. Then that awful time comes when you are half way through a movie and get an error or the movie just stops on still frame. You put your music in and it just hop's and skip's through the song,or go to play a game and it does not even acknowledge....

What to do????? You can do a google search and come up with all kind's of idea's,but here are a few i can tell you work ,or have worked for us....Remember which ever method you use, they are not fool proof. Some will work on one and another on another,But if your disc is ruined...well you really have nothing to loose and may get it workable again.Let me know what work's for you..

Brasso ==really i imagine any metal cleaner will do.use this to clean them just be gentle, also works on some hard plastics, like glasses.

Toothpaste==This has worked on several occasions but not as well as other's

Boiling == Boil the water and take off heat. Drop the dvd/cd in for 10 seconds. take it out on the sides being very careful. Touch it over with a cloth to get water off and set aside and let it dry for several hours.Boiling them does NOT remove the scratches or fix problems with that, but it fixes a different cause which is mainly for new discs

Pledge ==or another brand of furniture polish-This does work well ,expecially on smaller scratches

Hair Gel == fills the scratch and restores the refractive qualities to the track,it enables you to copy the disk. If you have a very deep scratch on your disk, this is the way to go as an abrasive may damage the disk even further.

Meguiar's plastic cleaner and plastic polish-This i have not tried but people say this work's wonders and restores sometimes to 100% !This is rather pricey.

Just some idea's for you snd i hope they also work for you...

have a Blessed day!
Betty
