Ever get behind???Grandparents is this your life?
Blessed morning everyone!
Are you like me and seems like more and more you get behind?I think it comes with age,i really do.Stress and health plays a large part too i know.The reason i decided to name this blog starting again is because over the past 10 years i feel i have started agin.I could make a book here,but no worries,i will not.
I have a 29 year old son,who is a certified termite exterminator as well as a computer whiz,and lead singer in a band and a bass player in another,He has went on tour with the bands around the usa several times and can play dang near anything he wants too.Loves the hippie look but at the same time,one of the sweetest guys you could meet(most times.lol)He is now the father of one of my granddaughters 16 months old,and with my precious daughter in law Julie!She is such a blessing to our family.I do love Julie!She is a wonderful partner for my son and the best mom i could ever have for Charlize mae.She is visiting her family in Arizona now with little princess and we do miss them.
I have a 27 year old daughter that could be a model if she had so inclined.She is very good at decoarating and arrangine things together,something i wish i had more of.She made some very bad decisions at one time in her life with meth,that almost cost her her kids.Through a hige struggle,determination ,God and family ,she has been clean now 24 months!Thank God.Her story is looking better every day.She is now very involved with her kids and school activities ,as well as the mother of 3 of my grandkids.Age 7,4,and 15 months.She has her hands full,yes....
When they were teens i met ,now hubby Jeff,along with his 4 year old that his mom dropped off at my house just a few short weeks after me and Jeff were dating.One of the reasons we went ahead and married were because of this.I believe a child needs the care of a mother or mother figure.Through these last 13 years Zacks mom would come in and out of the picture and his grandma just enough to make this little boys life a mess,full of lies and deceit.Even to the point of telling him we kidnapped him,etc,because she chose not too have anything to do with him for 2 solid years..no calls,xmas presents nothing,and she lives only 15 miles away!!!!she chose her life,that did not involve raising a child,but would not let him be happy!Now at age 17 he has chosen to be with her and now is in trouble with the law for shooting out windows at her trailer park!!!!They have literally destroyed him and do nt care!I could write a book here on just this BUT,,,,and yes through the years we have tried using police,jail scares,church,juvinile persons and none could help us with him.So now,we have an almost grown son who you can do nothing with but pray!
Back to my grandkids,in 2002 Billy was born.By age 8 months we had him over half the time.Kolby was born in 2005 ,june,when he was 5 months old he was left with me for 5 months,most all time.Drugs had started now.He went back when she got clean at 13 months and then came back at 18 months and billy was 4 .For 15 months i did not hear from my daughter.Did not know if she was dead or alive!I would not wish this on anyone.She came back that october pregnant with my granddaughter ,2 1/2 months along ,and through a tough battle has got her life and kids getting along pretty good.She knows this is something she can never forget ,nor them,but she can keep it from happening again.Talk about stress and learning to depend on GOD! Yes prayer can help and get you through...Now the kids are with Rita and with me on weekends.I miss them while they are gone,but a well needed break when i know they are ok.Grandparents are suppose to be grandparents..not parents.We are missing out on a special role with our kids anymore.But i must say we are making bonds that we would not have any other way.So any of you starting again with grandkids you raise as kids,,I understand!There are so many women now that from just selfish,to drugs,to physical mental problems,don't keep their kids.Bless the little one's in this generation but aWARDS TO YOU ALL THAT DO STEP UP AND TAKE CARE OF THESE PRECIOS LITTLE ONES!!!!!!there are a lot of kids that even grandparents will not take...
So when i am behind,,,IM SORRY...life is the way it is!This is my life.. ;)

Washing clothes,cleaning house and blogging
Happy Thursday!
Washing clothes,cleaning house and blogging,,lol,, what an assortment of things we do everyday.Yesterday we went down to testify about a murder trial from 8 years ago.We were all down fishing at the gulf in florida and we found a young lady floating in the bay.It was a very bad thing,so sad.It has taken them this long to arrest and have court .But at least now maybe her family can gain closure.maybe a little anyway.I have thought a lot about them through the years.She left a small son behind,anyway it looks like an ex boyfriend may have done it to her.Will keep updated on this.Court is in november .
I will be going to pick up little man tomorrow,keeping him here all the time for several years ,seemd strange when he is gone to school during the week at his moms.But glad they are doing good now.Clean for 22 months for my daughter is..THANK GOD!WELL Back to the washing,have a great day.I will be adding a few giveaways through out the day...

Good afternoon friends,
I am so happy to feel better today.I had an awful night last night.My temp actually dropped to 95 degrees!I checked this 2 times to be sure.If you have never had that happen ,let me tell you,your body and mind feel terrible!I was dizzy,exhausted,sleepy,fighting not to lay down because for a while i was scared to go to sleep here alone!It was frightening.Then to top that off i got sick on my stomach with terrible heartburn...
Then i find myself outside about to throw up ,which i so hate to do because it takes my breath away,asthma.I literally at that point start praying to God and and taking a faith stand against the sickness.IT IMMEDIATELY WENT AWAY!!thank you God ,ALL GLORY TO YOU!!!!within 10 seconds i was thanking God....The nausea stopped immediately people and a lot of the weakness and dizziness.Within 20 minutes i was laying down and ready for sleep!God is amazing and it is such a gift that he left us his word,the living bible,so that we would know what to do and what to ask for.You may not get the answer you need when u think u need it,But he is in control....
My grandsons prayer life inspired me all over again Saturday.His fish,yes his fish,was dieing.It was already floating and he and kolby were upset by that.With no spoken words billy (age 7) set down in front of the aquarium ,put his hands under his cheek,lowered his head and was silently praying.Kolby (age 4)saw it and fell in right behind him.What words they said,i do not know,only the lord knows....BUT...i do know that their fish is swimming like nothing ever happened to him today!GLORY!!!!
He told his story at church Sunday as a testimony..YES...even fish matter to God,how much more you do!If the simple prayer of a child works to reach God,why not think yours and ours do????I don't mean just tossing words or demands out there ,i mean prayer from the heart with a trust that he is hearing!He is listening dear friend,,He is...Only you and i can limit God.Believe in Jesus and lift up your hearts and hands to God..You will be amazed at what will be unleashed...Come on Church..What are you waiting for?JESUS IS THE ANSWER!

I am so happy to feel better today.I had an awful night last night.My temp actually dropped to 95 degrees!I checked this 2 times to be sure.If you have never had that happen ,let me tell you,your body and mind feel terrible!I was dizzy,exhausted,sleepy,fighting not to lay down because for a while i was scared to go to sleep here alone!It was frightening.Then to top that off i got sick on my stomach with terrible heartburn...
Then i find myself outside about to throw up ,which i so hate to do because it takes my breath away,asthma.I literally at that point start praying to God and and taking a faith stand against the sickness.IT IMMEDIATELY WENT AWAY!!thank you God ,ALL GLORY TO YOU!!!!within 10 seconds i was thanking God....The nausea stopped immediately people and a lot of the weakness and dizziness.Within 20 minutes i was laying down and ready for sleep!God is amazing and it is such a gift that he left us his word,the living bible,so that we would know what to do and what to ask for.You may not get the answer you need when u think u need it,But he is in control....
My grandsons prayer life inspired me all over again Saturday.His fish,yes his fish,was dieing.It was already floating and he and kolby were upset by that.With no spoken words billy (age 7) set down in front of the aquarium ,put his hands under his cheek,lowered his head and was silently praying.Kolby (age 4)saw it and fell in right behind him.What words they said,i do not know,only the lord knows....BUT...i do know that their fish is swimming like nothing ever happened to him today!GLORY!!!!
He told his story at church Sunday as a testimony..YES...even fish matter to God,how much more you do!If the simple prayer of a child works to reach God,why not think yours and ours do????I don't mean just tossing words or demands out there ,i mean prayer from the heart with a trust that he is hearing!He is listening dear friend,,He is...Only you and i can limit God.Believe in Jesus and lift up your hearts and hands to God..You will be amazed at what will be unleashed...Come on Church..What are you waiting for?JESUS IS THE ANSWER!

Arizona trip and Homecoming Opp Alabama
Hi all,
Had a blast yesterday with Homecoming in Opp but paid the price last night!As readers know i went with son Darrell to Take Julie(wife )and granddaughter Charlie Mae to Birmingham to catch a flight to Phoenix Arizona.They went out to spend a couple months with Julie's family there.She moved here to Alabama when she and Darrell got together.I will so miss them both but i think on how Julie's family must miss them.I know they are so excited to have them both back for a while and Julie happy to be back with her dad and family.I miss you both baby but wish you such a happy time!Love you both...
Then after the trip (hours of driving) yesterday i had the homecoming parade to walk with Kolby's preschool class.They lined us up for an hour BEFORE it began in the sun!!!!Imagine that with 40 preschoolers...Any way by the time we started in the lineup,they were thirsty,hot,tired and needed to go to the bathroom!!!!
With all that a side,it was great!We had tattoo's on the face ,class shirts,decked in black and gold and a stroller decorated to match that held little summer!Floats,kids ,marching band,football team,cheerleaders and candy!What else does anyone need in a small town,,lol,
BUT...my poor back and legs are paying the price.Last night was terrible,have not felt that bad in a long time.Billy and Kolby came home with me and today they playing with Molly.She is our neighbor.Right now they are cruising the yard with their battery powered John Deere tractor.Those things are tough.Has a 7 year old,and 2 4 year olds on it's back and it is a couple years old.

Little white church on the hill
I had such a great time at church today!It was so reviving.The songs were beautiful,piano playing ..ahhh..another Sunday in the south at the little white church on the hill! ;)
We have a small church that is 150 years old this year.Not a lot of people attend,usually 20-25,praying for growth,But the spirit is alive here.I teach the Sunday school class for small one's and usually i have 3 or 4 kids.Today just Kolby was there but we had a good time and he learned a scripture in Timothy.He is getting to be such a big little 4 year old.Also my grandson!
Is not God awesome? What would i do without his love and my hope for the future.I can understand how people could commit suicide ,if i had no hope for eternity this world would be a bleak place at times.I am sorry for people who do not know my Jesus.People say how come Jesus is the only way.Well he is the only one who has ever died and rose again.If all the Gods ,saviors ,which ever,were not in the grave..well maybe....BUT...there is no other and the bible,new testament,says there is only one way and that is through Jesus Christ.The old testament told of him years before.It should not have been a surprise then but it was and still is.Even with proof all around ,people would still rather look elsewhere for answers because then they do not have to admit wrong and that they can not help themselves.Jesus has to do it when we ask him to help us and come into our lives.
Sometimes i see people that think they want to try Jesus and ask him and then when their lives don't all of a sudden change or they ''feel something new'' all at once ,they just walk away,Yes sometimes there is an immediate change,but not usually.It is a slow process,but you have the knowing now that when u fail you are forgiven and that if you died tonight you'd be Heaven bound...Not the great unknown..HELL...
A lot of people think other things happen,maybe reincarnation or others.But that is not true.Most will not listen to that and they will find out all too late they were wrong.Then there is no help for them.I tell my kids and grand kids a lot to always let Jesus know they love him and always be ready to go at any given time when Jesus returns.I have told them if i go first i will be waiting for them...Heaven and being with God,Jesus and Holy Spirit is not something any of us want to miss!I want to spend it with my family as well.So make sure you tell them babies about Jesus.Give them the chance at eternity...
I only wish i had understood Gods love and grace earlier.I always thought i had to ''fix'' myself first and then i could get saved.So for 30 years i was a mess,trying to do better and steady getting worse and deeper in the gutter of human waste.Yes we are all human waste on our own.That is why we are in such a mess as a whole,even the earth.That is why we have kids killing parents and vice verse.Why we have kids shooting up the schools and homes.This is why we can not go to bed at night and not lock our doors in fear.This is why people are afraid to help each other.Think about it.If we followed the 10 commandments that God gave us,There would be none of that!Just think about that for a minute.Families would be happy.No thieves,no killing,no lies,no adultery...wow! BUT....we as a whole do not want to admit there is a God there that made all of us and this world and that without him we will never be a success.We have to admit we NEED HIM! Human beings do not like that .We like to think we are in control,that we are our own Gods.WE CAN DO ANYTHING!
And we can not.We spend millions of dollars trying to prove we came from an ape which came from an atom exploding into something else that caused something else then BANG!
Sorry i don't buy into this mumbo jumbo.It is hard for me sometimes to believe smart people believe this.WHY?that is easier and makes us feel better about ourselves.We don't have to answer to anyone.It is not our faults things are a mess,we can steal.lie,kill babies and not worry about it.
Deep down all of us hunger for something.That is why we feel so empty and alone.Across the globe we are a religious people..Think about that..There are different religions and people are looking for it to fill that vacuum.We are separated from him due to sin.we feel that!That is the hole inside,a lot of us never figure that out.Jesus is the only ''GOD MAN'',he took our penalty ,the wrap,and pardoned it!wiped it out..It is called grace!We are saved through our faith in this,Believing it.There is no other religion like this.Works can not get it.Only Grace gives us this.We can not earn it,buy it,wish for it.We have only to ask God for it,believeing in Jesus.Jesus is the only way because he is the only one who could do it.The only one who could do it once and for all.No other religious leader claimed to be the only way.Think about that.Even they knew they had no power!We have been the ones to elevate them.
I myself would rather admit i need God and look for him,to search out his desires for us,his hope for us and his love for us....He loved us so much he gave up his own SON!!!!For us a bunch of people who will not even accept him...HE LOVED US THIS MUCH!!!!

Remembering the heroes and ramblin's
Evening all..
A new giveaway begins next week so make sure you look for that as well as several upcoming reviews.I am looking forward to them.How is the weather where you are?As for us here in the south,cooler temps and nice slow rainfall.I love it.Rita came and got little Summer earlier today and now just me and my 4 year old kolby .We laid the living room carpet today.Yea ,Yuk! But i am so glad to have it down.Living here next to a dirt road it is so hard not to track in dirt and also the dust from the clay road is awful,even with windows down.I love to leave them up as much as i can.Cleans out the home as well as saves on energy bills.Just no reason wasting on the air conditioner when i can get out of it.I also enjoy hanging out my clothes to dry,Just with such hard water it sucks cleaning them.I would love to find a product for hard water that really works and does not cost an arm and a leg to get.I just will not waste money without knowing it will work.That is the main reason i enjoy reviews.You can get an honest opinion on a product and know it work's without wasting hard earned money to find out it is a waste!
Kolby is busy under the table with a pretend truck ramp.He is all boy,and with a vivid imagination.He is enjoying pre school i am glad to report,and is up to the letter H.Grandparents day was friday and we had such fun with a FULL LUNCH SERVED!That was surprizing.
I was able to catch several of the shows yesterday on the history channell on 9-11.So many heroes that day,some well known ,some i discovered yesterday.The pictures i saw as well were amazing.I have to say i think the very best i watched was inside 9-11.They had great footage,actual phone calls,pics and video,not reinactments.I hope you were able to catch some of them and take time to remember the men ,women and children whom died that day as well as the choices that were made in defending us afterwards.YES THANK YOU GEORGE BUSH!!
I do not fully agree with everything that has happened in the war since this happened but i do know that something had to be done to insure our safety and freedom.Just be glad you did not have to make that decision!!!!!!

A new giveaway begins next week so make sure you look for that as well as several upcoming reviews.I am looking forward to them.How is the weather where you are?As for us here in the south,cooler temps and nice slow rainfall.I love it.Rita came and got little Summer earlier today and now just me and my 4 year old kolby .We laid the living room carpet today.Yea ,Yuk! But i am so glad to have it down.Living here next to a dirt road it is so hard not to track in dirt and also the dust from the clay road is awful,even with windows down.I love to leave them up as much as i can.Cleans out the home as well as saves on energy bills.Just no reason wasting on the air conditioner when i can get out of it.I also enjoy hanging out my clothes to dry,Just with such hard water it sucks cleaning them.I would love to find a product for hard water that really works and does not cost an arm and a leg to get.I just will not waste money without knowing it will work.That is the main reason i enjoy reviews.You can get an honest opinion on a product and know it work's without wasting hard earned money to find out it is a waste!
Kolby is busy under the table with a pretend truck ramp.He is all boy,and with a vivid imagination.He is enjoying pre school i am glad to report,and is up to the letter H.Grandparents day was friday and we had such fun with a FULL LUNCH SERVED!That was surprizing.
I was able to catch several of the shows yesterday on the history channell on 9-11.So many heroes that day,some well known ,some i discovered yesterday.The pictures i saw as well were amazing.I have to say i think the very best i watched was inside 9-11.They had great footage,actual phone calls,pics and video,not reinactments.I hope you were able to catch some of them and take time to remember the men ,women and children whom died that day as well as the choices that were made in defending us afterwards.YES THANK YOU GEORGE BUSH!!
I do not fully agree with everything that has happened in the war since this happened but i do know that something had to be done to insure our safety and freedom.Just be glad you did not have to make that decision!!!!!!

Grandparents day~The robins are comin and Giveaways
Good evening all,
Don't forget to enter my giveaway while you are here,,Win a Kitchen set of E Cloths-17.00 value .I had a great time at my oldest grandson Billy's school today,we had grandparent's day.I am sure there were at least 6oo attending.It was great to see all the support and you must remember we live in a small town.We do although firmly believe in education and know we have a need to support the children.It was wonderful!
Afterwards we went over and picked up our other grandson Kolby from his preschool.I am so proud of both my boys.Kolby is learning the alphabet and up to the letter H and can count to 11.For my Kolbster that is a milestone,lol.
I will go pick up Charlie Mae tomorrow for the day and night.Her and her mom Julie will be flying out to Arizona next Saturday to visit with her folks for a couple months.I will miss them but she trys to go yearly for a couple months at a time.It is great for her and the family.Keep them in your thoughts and prayers for a safe trip please.
I saw a flock of robins flying in day before yesterday morning while sipping my coffee out on the steps.It is way early for them with the exceptions of an early winter.I also have saw 2 beds of goldenrod's blooming.Sign of an early cold winter.My hubby would love for that to be .He is from Michigan and that is the one thing he misses most is the snow.I think he is the only person in south alabama that owns 2 pairs of ski's,suits,boots,the works!Lol...When it does snow again we will have a blast.

whole body detox !
Hello all and thanks for coming by.I am planning a detox program next month ,this includes Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy,Deep Breathing Exercises,juicing and toxic cleaning!

Just got back from spending a few days at my daughter and grandkids home.It was fun yet very tiring.Helped her with the kids while she is planning and preparing for a yard sale this weekend.Yesterday afternoon i went over and got the 4th grandchild and had them all..My back ached last night..lol..I dreaded laying down in bed last night it hurt so bad,no joke there.I do enjoy them so very much but all together it can get rough.
I am watching fox news,only channell of news i like to watch,because there is no media BIAS!They are interviewing the death dr,Jack Kervorkian,. now and it is a kinda strange intereview i must say.But you know he served 10 years prision for helping kill people,assisted suicide,but our government wants to help with that now.Kind of strange there don't you think.If he was guilty ,hhhmmmm...think about that.
The hurricane's are spinning out there,good news is the one in mexico is spinning down and the one in the atlantic,well they just have no idea..That one i am watching.Here in south alabama this time of year it pays top watch very carefully!
I still see such a panic with the swine flu and folks...Speaking from experiance..It is not even as bad as the regular flu!My entire family has had it.The worse part is chest congestion!Please stop panicing!It is not valid on this....Not unless something far worse happens.2 weeks ago it started with us and now about gone through us all.From 14/15 month old kids (3 of them) right on up to 78 year old..
The government for SOME REason and the media is blowing this all out of porpotion...WATCH THE CONGRESS AND THE HILL...
